Money: Balance

Cruise Buddy Plus

Money is part of Cruise Buddy Plus. Without it you can still read any price, payment or spend you have already entered — what needs Plus is adding and editing.

The cruise's Money section keeps two things apart that are easy to confuse:

• Balance — what the cruise itself costs, and what you've paid towards it. This page.
• Onboard spend — what goes on your cabin account once you're aboard.

They're never added together.

Summary

The top of the section shows:

• Cruise price — from the cruise details.
• Paid so far — the total of every payment you've recorded.
• Left to pay — the difference. It never goes below zero; once you've paid in full it says you're all paid up.

With no cruise price, it asks you to add one. Use Edit cruise in the header.

The same figure, with a progress bar, appears in Balance on the cruise Overview.

Recording a payment

Tap Add payment and enter:

• Amount.
• When — the date you paid.
• Note — optional, e.g. "Deposit" or "Final balance".

The deposit

The Deposit paid you enter when adding the cruise is kept with the cruise details. Add it here as a payment too, so that Paid so far and Left to pay include it.

Editing or deleting a payment

Each payment has Edit and Delete. The summary updates straight away, and deleting can be undone until it has synced.

Currency

Amounts are shown in pounds sterling.
