Cruise Buddy Plus

Places is part of Cruise Buddy Plus. If a travel agent or cruise line included Plus with any of your cruises, Places is unlocked too.

Places, in the main navigation, is your personal world map of every port you've called at on a cruise.

What appears

A port appears when:

• The cruise has finished — Places is for cruises you've actually taken.
• The day is a port day.
• The day has a map position — which it gets when you choose the port from Cruise Buddy's catalogue.

At the top, a tally: how many ports you've visited, in how many countries, across how many cruises. Cruises you're following aren't counted — they're someone else's trip.

Map, list and poster

Switch between three views:

• Map — every port as a marker. Hover over or focus a marker for the port and how many times you've visited. Use + and − to zoom.
• List — every port, with how many times you've been (Once, 2× and so on).
• Poster — a print-ready version. See Places Poster.

Nothing showing?

Message	What it means
Nowhere yet	None of your cruises has finished yet. Ports appear once one has.
No positions yet	Your finished cruises' ports have no map positions yet. Cruise Buddy looks each port up by its name and country when you open Places, so a port it cannot find, or a day with no country, stays off the map. Check the port and country on those days, or enter the latitude and longitude.

Nothing to maintain

Places is worked out from your itineraries, so there's nothing separate to keep up to date. Correct a day on a finished cruise and the map follows.
