Place History
The Place History screen — the second tab in the bottom navigation — is your personal world map of every port you've ever called at.

What appears on the map
A pin is dropped for every itinerary day from any cruise where:
- The cruise has finished (the end date is in the past).
- The day is a port stop.
- The day has coordinates.
Active and upcoming cruises don't appear — Place History is for the cruises you've actually completed.
If you haven't finished any cruises yet, the screen shows a "Nowhere yet" empty state.
Map controls
- Pinch to zoom in and out (within the supported range).
- Drag to pan around the world.
- Tap a pin to see the port name, country, and which cruise(s) visited it.
When the same port appears on multiple cruises, you'll see one pin with all the visits listed.
Poster export
The action button in the app bar opens the Places Poster — a print-ready version of your map suitable for sharing or printing.
Updating coordinates
If a port doesn't appear where you expect, the source itinerary day probably doesn't have coordinates. Open the relevant cruise → Itinerary tab → that day, and use Edit day to set the country or coordinates. Place History picks up the change automatically.
What's not stored here
Place History is computed live from your itineraries; there's no separate "places" database to maintain. If you delete a cruise, its ports disappear from the map. If you re-import a cruise from a share link, its ports come back.
