Journal

Cruise Buddy Plus

The Journal is part of Cruise Buddy Plus, including its photos and the PDF download. Entries you have already written stay readable without it — what needs Plus is writing a new entry or editing an old one.

The Journal is your personal diary for a cruise. Write entries, add photos, note your mood and where you were, and record who you were with. With a keyboard to hand, it's the part of Cruise Buddy where a computer comes into its own.

Writing an entry

The New journal entry form sits at the top of the Journal:

• Entry — "What happened today?" Write as much as you like. Line breaks are kept exactly as you type them.
• Photos — tap Add photos to attach one or more pictures.
• Mood — a word or two for how the day felt.
• Location — type a place, or tap Use current location to record where you are. Your browser asks for permission the first time.
• People — tick anyone on this cruise who was with you. Only people added to the cruise's People section are offered.

Tap Add entry to save it.

The entry list

Entries are listed below the form, each with its date, mood, location, photos and the people you were With.

• Edit entry lets you change the text and details in place. If you move away with unsaved changes, Cruise Buddy asks first.
• Add a photo to an existing entry, or choose which photo is its cover.
• Delete entry removes the entry and its photos after you confirm. You can undo until the deletion has synced.

Photos

Journal photos are encrypted and synced to your account, so they appear on all your devices. Each photo shows whether it's on this device, waiting to upload or not downloaded yet.

Downloading a PDF

Tap Download journal PDF to create a keepsake booklet of the cruise's journal, with each entry's date, mood, location, the people you were with, the text and photos. Save it, print it, or send it to someone.
