ToDo Tab

The ToDo tab is for everything that needs to happen before you board — booking transfers, arranging pet care, ordering currency, switching the boiler off. Like the Packing tab, items are grouped by category with a tickable checkbox.

Starting your to-do list

When the tab is empty, Cruise Buddy gives you three ways to get going:

• Add starter list — adds a built-in checklist of common pre-cruise tasks across categories like Pre-cruise, Bookings, Home and Documents. A useful starting point you can adapt to your trip.
• Copy from previous cruise — copies every to-do item from your most recent past cruise. Great if you run through the same prep for every trip. If no previous cruise is found, or that cruise had no to-do items, Cruise Buddy will tell you.
• Add one task — goes straight to the add form so you can build the list your own way.

Once you have at least one item, a + floating action button appears to add more.

Filtering by category

A row of filter chips at the top of the list lets you narrow to a single category. Tap All to see everything, or tap a category name to focus on just those tasks.

Adding items

Tap + to add a task. You'll be asked for:

• Title — what needs doing.
• Category — pick from existing categories or type a new one. Common categories include Pre-cruise, Bookings, Pets, Home, Travel money, Documents.

Marking done

Tick the checkbox to mark a task complete. Each category header shows a "done / total" count so you can track progress.

Done items stay in place — they don't drop to the bottom — so you can still see your overall plan.

Editing and deleting

• Tap a task to edit its title or category.
• Swipe a task to reveal Delete.

ToDo vs Reminders

Use the ToDo tab for things you need to do — items where the question is "have I done it?" rather than "when does it happen?".

If you want a notification at a specific time (a flight reminder, a parking pickup, a final balance reminder), use the Reminders section on the relevant Itinerary Day instead. Reminders schedule a system notification on your device.

ToDo lists and sharing

To-do lists are personal to your device and are not included in cruise share links. Travel partners can use Add starter list or Copy from previous cruise on their own device.
