Money: Onboard Spend

Cruise Buddy Plus

Spend is part of Cruise Buddy Plus. Without it your existing onboard spending stays visible; what needs Plus is logging anything new or editing an entry.

Onboard spend, in the cruise's Money section, tracks what goes on your cabin account — drinks, specialty dining, the spa, the gift shop, gratuities, ship's excursions. It's kept separate from the balance, which tracks payments towards the cruise itself.

Recording spend

Tap Add spend and enter:

• Category — Drinks, Specialty dining, Spa, Gratuities and so on.
• Amount.
• When.
• Currency — the currency you paid in, such as GBP, USD or EUR. Left blank, it's GBP.
• Note — a short description.

Totals

Spent on board shows the running total. If you've recorded spend in more than one currency, you'll see a separate total for each — Cruise Buddy never converts between currencies, because an exchange rate it invented would be a number you might act on.

Editing or deleting

Each entry has Edit and Delete. Deleting can be undone until it has synced.

Onboard credit

Any Onboard credit included with your booking is shown in Booking & cabin on the cruise Overview. Set it with Edit cruise.
