Settings

Open the Account menu in the main navigation and choose Profile and settings. Settings holds everything that applies to Cruise Buddy as a whole, rather than to any one cruise.

The screen is grouped into sections:

• Sync
  • Encrypted sync — whether everything has synced, and a Sync now button.
• Notifications
  • Reminder notifications — turn reminder notifications on or off for this device.
• Devices
  • Devices — every phone, tablet and browser signed in to your account, and when each last synced. Remove any you no longer use.
• Security
  • Passphrase — add or change a memorable alternative to your recovery code.
  • Lock this browser — remove your cruises and key from this device, leaving the encrypted copy on the server.
• Plan and account
  • Whether you have Cruise Buddy Free or Cruise Buddy Plus, with a button to see Plus.
  • Sign out and Delete account — see Your Cruise Buddy account.
• Preferences
  • Appearance — System, Light or Dark.
  • Daily tips — show or hide the tip card on the dashboard.
• Setup
  • Restart onboarding and Start guided setup — see Guided Setup.
• Install
  • Install Cruise Buddy and the Browser storage card.
• Help and contact
  • Help — contact support and read our replies, the support portal, feedback and diagnostic info.
  • System status — whether Cruise Buddy's services are running.
• Credits and attribution — the data services and photographers Cruise Buddy relies on.

The version and build number are at the bottom of the screen, which is useful when reporting a problem.
