Packing ​

Packing is your packing list for the cruise, grouped by category and, if you like, by bag, so you can tick things off as you pack.

Starting your packing list ​

With nothing on the list yet, Cruise Buddy offers Add starter list — a set of cruise essentials across common categories, from boarding passes and travel insurance for your hand luggage to a formal outfit. Add it, then trim or extend it for this trip.

Or tap Add item to build the list your own way.

Adding items ​

Tap Add item and fill in:

  • Item — what to pack ("Sunglasses", "Adaptor plug").
  • Category — Documents, Clothes, Toiletries, Electronics and so on. Left blank, it's General.
  • Which bag — for example "Hand luggage" or "Big suitcase". Optional.

Once any item has a bag, the list is grouped by bag.

Filtering ​

Filter the list by Category, and by Bag — All bags, No bag, or a specific one. Handy on packing day when you're working through one case at a time.

Packed or to pack ​

Each item is labelled Packed or To pack. Marking an item as packed can't yet be done in the web app.

Editing and deleting ​

Each item has Edit and Delete. Deleting can be undone until it has synced.

Packing lists and sharing ​

A traveller link includes your packing list, so a travel partner starts from your list rather than a blank one. A follower link doesn't.
