Map

The Map section of an Itinerary Day shows the port on an interactive map. The cruise's Itinerary also has a route overview map joining every port in order.

Using the map

The map is framed to fit the port — or, on the route overview, every port on the cruise.

• Use the + and − buttons to zoom in and out.
• Hover over or focus a port marker to see its name.

The map appears for days with a map position. Sea days, and ports typed in without choosing one from the catalogue, have none.

Setting or correcting the position

If a port is missing from the map or in the wrong place, edit the day from the cruise's Itinerary and either:

• Choose the port from Cruise Buddy's catalogue as you type, which fills in its position, or
• Enter the Latitude and Longitude yourself.

The map, Conditions and Places all use the corrected position.

Tiles and privacy

Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and need a connection the first time you view an area. Tile requests contain only the map area being viewed — no cruise or account details.
