Appearance

Cruise Buddy supports light and dark themes. The Appearance card in Settings lets you pick between three modes:

• System — follow the device's current setting. Switches automatically when the device does.
• Light — always use the light theme.
• Dark — always use the dark theme.

Tapping a segment applies the theme immediately — no restart needed.

What changes

The chosen theme controls the colours used throughout the app — backgrounds, cards, text, icons. Splash screen colours stay the same on cold start (it uses Cruise Buddy's brand gradient regardless of theme).

Reading on deck

If you find one theme easier to read in bright sunlight or low-light cabins, lock the theme to that mode rather than leaving it on System — it saves the device from auto-switching mid-cruise.
